Where do the rates come from?

Two assets that both trade against USDT are compared through USDT, and each one’s Toman price is its USDT price times the USDT rate. Foreign currencies, gold coins and gold are priced in Toman on Iran’s open market and are shown for reference only, which is also why the open-market dollar and USDT are not treated as the same.

How often are the rates updated?
